This is a classic case of an application that is not compatible with Vista.
The application should be 'asking you' if you want to run it with
administrator privileges, instead of simply saying that you do not have
administrator privileges.
Try right clicking the application and selecting the "Run as administrator"
option. If this works, right click the application and select Properties /
Compatibility Tab. At the bottom of the dialog box in Privilege Level select
the Run this program as an administrator option.
This will make the program ask nicely whenever it is started.
