RE: Effective Permissions Not Working
I believe it has to do with UAC and the system not prompting you to enter
credentials to access this file as administrator as in programs. If you
follow the steps in the thread below labeled "UAC and Windows Explorer" that
will solve your problem for now. Just open explorer as administrator.
Perhaps there is a group policy setting but I have not found one. I think we
will just have to live with it this way.
