Windows update

OS = Vista Home Premium

When I try to run Windows update manually, I receive the following error;

Windows could not search for new updates, along with error Code 800F080D.

I have widnows update set to receive and install automatically.

I have had the same problem on 7/15/2008 but the error code ended in an E.

I am trying to figure out how to delete the auto-downloaded update file so a
new one can be downloaded. (If it sees the update has been downloaded and
ready to install it will not download it again).

In my case I may have gotten a bad download, so I would like to delete the
file and try again.
