2nd USER NAME AND FILES DELETED?!

last night i made a new user name and started a new project, when i woke up
this morning my lap top wouldnt start up so it restored itself to a previous
time, but it said it wouldn't harm my files. when i finally got onto my lap
top neither the user name nor the file were there. i tried to use system
restore, didn't work! how do i reset my laptop to a previous time, like last
night around 10! (windows vista)

When you use System Restore to go back to a previous state, an "Undo"
restore point will be created. This allows you to 'undo' what system restore
changed.

Start System Restore and select the latest 'undo' restore point.
