cannot delete some files

I have an accounting program that needs to be re-installed. They told me
that I must delete the old program prior to re-installing. I have used the
control panel delete program but three folders still exist. I tried to
delete them and was told that I didn't not have permissions. I am operating
under my log in but with administrator rights. I was told that I needed the
system administrator rights and was given someplace to find how to get them
back.

I could not find that informaiton. Help again, please

Hello,

right-click the folder > Properties > tab "Security" > Advanced > tab
"Owner" > Edit > select your username and choose to replace the owner on all
subcontainers > OK. If necessary, go back to tab "Security" and give your
username all necessary permissions.
