Changed User name, but User folder name didnt get changed?

I changed my user name in the Control Panel but my User folder is still the
old name.... why is this and how can i change it to what my user name is?

You can't. Create a new user account with the name you want the folder to
be.
Move all the files form the old user folder to the new user folder. Change
all the ownerships to the new user.
Delete the old user account.

Very much a pain!!

These are protected systems files and cannot be easily renamed. If
this doesn't suit you, your best option would be to simply create a new
user account, copy the settings from the current account to it, and then
delete the old account.
