First, you want to create another user account with Administrator
privileges. Make sure you create a strong password for this account. Log on
with this account once to make sure it is working properly. You always want
an Administrator account available in case you ever need it. This is the
account you will use to elevate a component while you are using the standard
user account.
Once you are sure the new administrator account is working properly, You can
then go into Control Panel/User Accounts and change your original
administrator account to a Standard User account.
