Need Some Guidance on User Accounts

Hi, couple of questions please?

I was looking at creating a couple of user accounts, but hosting their My
Documents, My Pictures, Favourites..etc..etc... on a different drive, some of
them shared between the various accounts....mainly my pictures, my videos...

Is this the best way to go....or can someone suggest a more efficient way

You can create their home folders on another drive and make/share another
folder which would be accessible to all of those users.
After that you can easily map those drives with a script.
If you need help regarding this, please let me know
