Forefront filter scan within zip files

Hi

I've recently installed migrated to EBS which uses forefront as the sercuity
/ email scanner. The trouble is there is a need to send drivers for hardware
that is made here and software out by email. Normally these are just zipped
up and sent but forefront is removing any exe, dll, inf etc even if it is
within a zip file. Is there a way to prevent forefront file filter from
removing the files within zip files.

Generally that's what forefront does with its VSAPI and the other scan
engines from other AV product available within the forefront package you are
using "anything zipped file attachment without a password is considered can
be as a threat. " other than you reach out to Forefront support to have
those drivers packages be included in the whitelist and be categorized as a
normal files prior to you sending it via e-mail.
