ForeFront and the others

Hello !

A client wants to use ForeFront Security Server for a MOSS 2007 project.
This installation is resumed:

- 3 farms (2 WFE, 1 indexer per farms)- win 2003 64 bits enterprise US
- 1 cluster by farm (sql standard 64 bits 2005)
- Moss 2007 enterprise.

1) - First Question: how many servers do I need and what's about
configuration ?

Client has already a Macafee central solution and he don't want to change.

2) Second question: Can ForeFront run with MacAfee with no conflict ?

Generally, it's not recommanded to store 2 AV on the same servers.

AFAIR you'll need FSSP for every MOSS instance running.
For a centralized management take a look at "Forefront Server Security
Management Console"

Does McAffee provide a MOSS-Scanner? If yes, keep it running.
If McAffee runs only as a file systems scanner, there schould be no issue
with having FSSP on the same box. Both operates in different areas.
