SQL requirement
Can Forefront utilize the same SQL instance that comes with WSUS 3? Does one
have to purchase SQL Server 2005 to use Forefront?

WSUS comes with SQL Express/MSDE.
FCS requires SQL Server 2005 Standard or Enterprise.

Re: SQL requirement
Requiring SQL Server 2005 is kind of a high barrier to entry, isn't it? If a
business currently has no business reason to own SQL Server 2005, getting it
for Forefront can be a deal-breaker.

Look at the pricing for FCS with SQL and compare it with other products.
