Forefront client and Outlook

If I install the forefront client standalone does it integrate , and
protect, with OL2007 client ?

There's no direct integration into Outlook.
But of course, if you open an infected attachment, FCS should detect it and
act as configured.

so I understand that FCS does not in any of its variety integrate with
outlook ?
Sounds a little strange given Outlook to be MIcrosoft's mail client ..

What kind of integration are you exactly looking for?

Do you want Attachments being scanned? That is the job of Forefront Security
for Exchange Server.

I'm interested to get any idea on this!
