Vista SP2 update ERROR_BADKEY 800703f2 (0x800703f2) Resolved

Hello to All,

Got an auto-update error (see the subject) with Vista SP2.
Downloaded the full update pack of SP2 (KB948465) but got the same error.
Tried about all solutions given by the many internet searches but without
succes.
Found one solution, see my own reply...!!!

The solution for me was to manually rebuild the Performance Counter Library
values

de Waarden in de prestatiebibliotheek handmatig opnieuw opbouwen...!!!!!

see art. KB300956

Go to start;
Run / Uitvoeren
typ cmd
right klick on / klik met re muisknop op : cmd.exe
choose /kies : run as administrator / uivoeren als administrator
Typ : lodctr /R
close aal windows / alle vensters sluiten
restart / opnieuw opstarten

Try the auto-update or full update pack of SP2 again and in my case it did
all updates smoothly without any problems.....!!!!!

Probeer nu de auto-update of volledige installatie van SP2 opnieuw en in
mijn geval ging het updaten gladjes, ook van alle updates daarna.

Hope this will be helpfull to many of you with the same probs....!!!!
