safety mode word filing

Hi,
due to bluescreen error I start in safety mode, with internet access.
I use word, and want to file my new word text as normal.
When i try to file i get choice panel: file in standard, or word97 etcetera.
When i click any of these then i am back to my new word text again!
Please help.
I only can modify an existing file, not change any file name or file new
word files.

This is a Dutch newsgroup, we post messages in Dutch, but try this:
Save the file as an RTF file (Rich Text Format) with the same name, later on
open the .rtf and save it to .doc with a self chosen name.
b.t.w. examin the cause of the BSOD and do something about it.

In 99% van de gevallen gaat het om een Nederlander die niet langer kijkt
dan zijn neus lang is. Aan het brakke Engels te zien is dat hier ook het
geval.

Gewoon in het Nederlands antwoorden is prima dus.

Vaak zijn het ook multi posters terwijl "crossposting" (niet meer dan 3
groepen) te prefereren is.
