HP Deskjet CP1700

Hallo,

Weet iemand meer over deze printer waarbij je geen A3-formaat meer kan
kiezen wanneer hij aan laptop met vista (vanuit xp kan dat wel)
Op site van HP of via google vind ik geen oplossing.

Wie heeft de oplossing ?

Dit lijkt een bekende issue te zijn met de Colorjet CP1700:

Er schijnt een patch te zijn voor dit probleem (niet een officiële fix). Ik
kon geen download link vinden, volgens mij moet je een mailtje sturen naar
Bob Headrick, bobh@mvps.org , dan krijg je hem vast toegestuurd.

Zojuist de oplossing toegepast, welke mij eerder toegezonden werd. Het werkt!
Ik kreeg per mail een patch van Bob Headrick [bobh@proaxis.com]. Je kunt hem een mailtje sturen en om de patch vragen. De 'gebruiksaanwijzing krijg je er van hem bij. Hieronder druk ik hem af:

[FONT='Arial','sans-serif']The Vista driver must be installed before the patch is applied. [/font]

[FONT='Arial','sans-serif']The attached file is the gpd for the printer. The patch will work in all versions of Vista, but for 64 bit versions please replace the W32x86\3 directory listed in the instructions with X64\3.[/font]

[FONT='Arial','sans-serif'] The easiest way to do this is in an elevated command window [run a command window with the "run as administrator command"][/font]

[FONT='Arial','sans-serif']net stop spooler[/font]

[FONT='Arial','sans-serif']cd %windir%\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3[/font]

[FONT='Arial','sans-serif']ren hpw1b83l.gpd *.bak[/font]

[FONT='Arial','sans-serif']copy attached file to %windir%\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3 [I had to save it to a temp file first and then copy to this directory][/font]

[FONT='Arial','sans-serif']del *.bud file [The bud files will be regenerated.][/font]

[FONT='Arial','sans-serif'][Some users have reported they needed to reboot at this point][/font]
[FONT='Arial','sans-serif'][Turn off the printer and then back on after rebooting][/font]


[FONT='Arial','sans-serif']Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, Printers, right-click on the cp1700, Run as Administrator, Properties, Printing Preferences and then change any setting such as in the Paper/Quality box select Fast Draft, Apply, OK, OK. You can then go back later and change the settings to whatever you want. This should regenerate the bud files in the rare case they do not generate automatically, then things should work normally.[/font]

[FONT='Arial','sans-serif']Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, Printers, doubleclick on the CP1700d, Printers, Properties, Device Settings and set the duplexer to "Installed" if you have a duplexer.[/font]
