Foutmelding : code 8000FFFF

Krijg steeds de volgende foutmelding: code 8000FFFF er kan niet naar updates
gezocht worden. Onder Windows Vista? is hier een oplossing voor?

gaat uitgebreid in op die foutmelding. Daarin komen 2 succesvolle
aanpakken voor:

1. To resolve Windows Update error 8000FFFF, try the following steps:

1) Launch REGEDIT

2) Go into Hkey_Local_Machine\COMPONENTS, and check if these three
values exist under the COMPONENTS key:

PendingXmldentifier
NextQueueEntryIndex
AdvancedInstallersNeedResolving

3) Providing they do exist, back up the Components key, then delete the
three above values.
4) Restart the computer, and Windows Update should now be working fine.

2. Als de foutmelding 8000FFFF komt bij het installeren van een hotfix
voor KB929777, probeer dan dit:

If you get an error trying to install Vista Update KB929777, try the
following:
Go to the list of your installed updates.
Look for a HOTFIX for KB929777 (There should be a HOTFIX)
UNINSTALL the HOTFIX.
Restart your computer.
DO NO RUN Windows Update (If you do, it will install the HOTFIX again!)
Download the KB929777 update file from Microsoft Download site to your
Hard drive.
Run it from your hard drive.
It should install correctly.
