WSUS Update Issue

Question for anyone out there . . .

I have some machines that when I apply updates, a specific service stops.
The event log shows that I sent the stop control (my user name was on the
"servic control manager" EVENT LOG.
If an updtae is causing a service to stop, wouldn't it be under another user
name?
