Problem with the CD/DVD driver with Service-pack 3 for Windows XP

Since I downloaded Service pack 3 for Windows XP, the driver for my Samsung
TS-H552B CD/DVD, version TS03, can't be read. It says that the driver may be
damaged or missing. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall the hardware, but
the problem remains. So far, I'm also unable to find any driver or firmware
precisely for the version TS03 of this product on Samsung's homepage (where
on the contrary firmware for TS00-TS10 EXCEPT TS03 is provided...), so I
would like to know if and precisely where it would be possible to find driver
updates at Windows Update, where I'm totally lost, or if there is something
else I could do to solve this problem, should it still remain after having
navigated correctly at Windows Update. It's a little peculiar, because it all
worked fine before I downloaded the update for Windows XP (Service pack 3),
and when I've made driver scans for outdated drivers, there has been no
indication of any problem with the driver for my CD/DVD.
