Client Can not get / detect Patch update through SMS 2003

Dear Sir,/ Madam,
Our setup: SMS 2003 R2 with ITMU 3.0
Task / Problem:
Cumulative security update for ActiveX Killbits KB953839 not deploying while
we install through

SMS 2003.

In otherwards, after completion of advertisement, we are not able to
recognise in the SMS'

control panel -> Software Updates - KB953839 patch does not show as
compatible. Resource explorer

of the targetted Client --->extended Software Updates also not showin as
installed. And also

Relevent Registry entry also not seen.

we have tried to make this Patch alone as a separate Package and tried to
issolate problem.
Please Kindly help us...
