KB951847 - two entries

Hi there -

Searching for KB951847 (.NET Framework 3.5, SP1 and Family Update) I get to
this page:
http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/...spx?q=kb951847. There
are two x86 entries, as far as I can tell identical. IS there any difference
in what I'd download?

And does anyone know why this package would keep failing when I try to
download? For the last five days I've tried but keep getting a "Failed", on
both an XP and a Win2k machine. The possible reasons provided don't apply
(no space in download folder, no permissions to it, it's on an unmapped
network share, network problems) apart from the last - the server was busy.
I've been assuming it was this, but I'd have thought that by now I'd have
mamanged it.

You can obtain the '.NET Framework 3.5 SP1 and Family Update', from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/r...&stype=s_basic

IF the link does not take you to the Language needed, then just enter
..NET Framework 3.5, SP1 and Family Update in the Search field here:

QED: What are the installed .NET Framework runtimes on the 2 systems ?
They will be listed in Add/Remove Programs under Microsoft .NET _____

IF the runtime installed is .NET 2 there's really no need to install all
3 updates. Just download and install NDP20SP2-KB958481-x86.exe.

IF .NET 3 or 3.5 is installed, then grab the updates for them, too.

BTW, there is *no* update for Win2K listed.
