Update of Visual C++ redistributable failing

Been trying to install for a few days now, keeps failing. The message is "
The feature you ar trying to use is on anetwork resource that is unavailable.
Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a forlder containing the
installation package 'vcredist.msi' in the box below". HELP!!!

I got the same problem. Can u fix it finally? and how?'

Click on the installed edition of Windows in the left frame and post the
issue there, Jane. Or, if the issue is about an update, click on the
Windows Update link.

EX: If the installed edition of Windows is Vista and the issue does
*not* involve an update, then choose Vista General.
