Service Pack 2

I am having trouble installing Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0Service Pack 2
KB954430. I have an icon appearing on my task bar at least 9 times now and
each time I click on it it does it's thing and then says "Installation
Completed". I have checked Microsoft updates and in update history it shows
that it is successfully installed. I use BitDefender as my Security program
and even in there it says I need to install this fix.
What's happening. How do I know if it is actually installed and how can I
fix it......Thanks
