Need patch for Microsoft Office XP - to solve Remote Code Executio

Is there a patch installation available for Microsoft Office XP to avoid
remote code execution in ActiveX controls?
(http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec.../ms08-070.mspx )

I got a patch for Windows 2000 and tried to install it in Windows XP machine.
But it is displaying a msg as "The version of windows you have installed
does not match the update you are trying to install".
