Getting Progress Failed on all catalog downloads
What port are you using for downloads? Our proxy may be blocking it. I've
tried on both Vista and XP systems to download the updates from
catalog.update.microsoft.com but they always fail. The error code is
8DD0023. None of the suggested causes apply to my situation. I'm
downloading to a local folder that has plenty of space. I suspect network
problems - hence the question regarding port usage.
