unwanted update

I got updates a few weeks ago. After i restarted my pc, i had an icon of hp
starter camera. i don't have this camera and it's blocking my web camera. can
i get rid of it??

Yes. Depending on the version of Windows, uninstall it from Add/Remove
Programs in XP; Programs and Features > Installed Programs in Vista.
