Automatic Update repetitive download

Why is Automatic Update repeatedly downloading KB 936181? Every time I want
to turn off the computer it wants to update the same thing, and it is
affecting how IE functions. It has downloaded the update nearly 100 times.
For now, I've turned Auto Update off.

3. After downloading the MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 2 setup file and its updates
on to the Desktop, please double-click the files to manually install them one
by one.

Hello!

I had the exact same problem! I went to www.bleepingcomputer.com They then
recommended that I go to
http://support.microsoft.com/default...;EN-US;Q936181 Once there
I followed the instructions in the article. However I did not get the exact
same messages come up on my computer like what was shown there. But the end
results were the same. I would recomend looking at this article to see if it
might help. It basically says to uninstall kb936181 then install kb941833
and then reinstall kb936181.
