Microsoft Update Error

Hi,

I'm trying to run Microsoft Update on my computer, and it refuses to
download any updates. I've tried to download them directly from the Microsoft
Update catalogue, however it just keeps bringing up the same error message:
[Error number: 80282001]. There's several crititcal updates I need to install
but I can't get to them.

The error message isn't listed anywhere that I can find.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

I've been trying to download the same updates and have been receiving the
same error notifications. It is rather nice to know I'm not the only one
with the struggle.

Sorry I can't help you but I'm having the same problem with that error number
and also the same lack of response.

Error codes are almost meaningless without their context.

Search for 80282001 in any diagnostic files the update attempt produced.
