Issue installing Windows XP SP2

I keep getting a 'Copy Error" message for multiple .dll files when trying to
install Windows XP SP2. The error message reads "Setup cannot copy the file
tapi32.dll. Ensure that the location specified below is correct, or change
it and insert 'Windows XP System Files' in the drive you specify. Copy files
from: (and then there is a drop down box that contains)
c:\windows\system32\dllcache"

The tapi32.dll file does exist but in a different folder
(c:\windows\system32). When I try to change the location to this folder in
the drop down box installation starts thinking but soon afterwards I get the
same error message.

Any help would be appreciated.
