wuauclt.exe help

getting a error message saying that "wuauclt.exe has encountered a problem
and needs to close...." Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hit me too, very painful, best of luck! I think we need to disable automatic
updates

active x is allowed. exceptions to firewall rulles are modified to accept
update.microsoft sites. But I get the message that wuauclt.exe is being
terminiated. Where can I redownload this control?
