Installing updates from catalog

I have downloaded a whole load of updates for XP from the windows Update
Catalog. I see them in my download folder and was wondering how to 'deploy'
them to a few machines.
Surely i don't have to go into every folder and run them on each machine do
I?
If that is the case then i may as well run automatic updates.... it seems
easier.

I think that's what you have to do unless you are running a WSUS server.
I hear there's a way to import the Windows Update Catalog updates into the
WSUS server, but no one on these forums seems to know how to do it. I posted
a question on it back in November and still no replies.
