Always redirected to random ad sites after search..

I have just recently installed ie8. Suddenly after doing a google or yahoo
search, and getting the desired result, I click on the link only to be
immediately whisked to some random advertising site! WHAT THE? This happens
every single time and it's terribly frustrating. I don't know what this is.
How do I stop it? Thanks in advance for your help.

Nothing to do with IE 8. Remove the malware that has infected your computer.
