Cannot Run IE8

I received this error message when trying to run this application:

"This system does not support your systems architecture (32/64bits)"
How can I fix this?

State your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; WinXP 64-bit SP2; Vista
SP1; Vista 64-bit SP2; Win7; Win7 64-bit) and your current IE version.
