IE Warning

I'm getting the below error while opening some of the sites.This error
started popping up a few days back
"A website wants top open web content using this program on your computer "
Name:chrome_launcher.exe

Contact Google Chrome Support.

You have IE set to alert you if anything tries to access the
'net besides it. Apparently a site you visited(e.g. it says "a
website") tried to open a window & redirect you to another
site, probably covertly, right?
Or you started Chrome while IE was open? I don't know if it
would catch that or not, but ... we all know how accurate MS
messages are(n't).
Don't know about IE7 but IE8 definitely has that setting.
