IE8 "Help" redirects to Windows7 "Help & Support"

I just noticed a problem on my (very) recently updated system.

a. Been using IE8 a long time now (over a year).
b. Migrated system to Win7 Home Premium (64-bit) in February 2010.
c. I seldom use "Help", but yesterday needed to check how to do something,
and instead of opening the IE Help window, the menu bar selection presented
me with the "Windows Help and Support Center".

How do I get to the IE8 *program* help files?

I'm not sure there is specific help for IE in W7...

That would be the 'Online support' command button/Help menu item.

To access your local IE Help files choose the Help>Internet Explorer Help
menu. (F1 shortcut key)

To access the default online help service provider (in the case of home
users this is Windows Help and Support Center, but it is configurable)
choose the Help>Online Support menu.

Add the following link to your Favorites (bar)

Which will take you directly to the Forum for Internet Explorer consumer
support.

However, this Newsgroup is where you'll get the best advice and help (most
of the time).

Right click on your IE Toolbar and select Customize>Show all text labels and
you will see that the 'Help' command bar button is actually for 'Online
Support'

BTW what do IE8 users have in %windir%\Help for IE8 in Vista?
