Favorites List

It takes forever to delete a website from my favorite list in IE8. I use the
manager and highlight a website and then click delete. It takes at least 5
minutes for IE8 to respond and ask if I wish to delete that website. When I
answer yes, it takes another 1 to 3 minutes to completely delete that
website. Does anyone know of a faster way to delete favorite websites? I
have quite a few that I wish to delete but do not want to take all night to
do it.

What happens if you Right Click the favorite and choose Delete? That should
be easier than what you are doing now. You can also go into the Favorites
Menu and Organize Favorites, and delete them and sort them into groups.

Always state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; WinXP 64-bit SP2;
Vista SP1; Vista 64-bit SP2; Win7; Win7 64-bit) as well as your IE version
when posting in an IE-specific forum or newsgroup. Please do so in your next
reply.
