Internet Explorer 7 & 8

I keep getting multiple internet explorer messages up to 15 on my desktop
saying cannot connect make sure the path or address is correct. Everytime I
delete another one or two re appears. Ive gone to tools and reset, I have
removed and reinstalled both In 7 & * and the problem is still there. Any
siggestions
