Cannot open Web Page
Using IE8; Windows 7 Home prem 32bit

When I enter www.walmart.com (or www.wal-mart.com) a Download Window
Opens......the label on the small window is FILE DOWNLAOD, it shows

Do you want to save this file or find a program online to open it?

Name: Index.co
Type: Unknown File Type
From: www.walmart.com

It then has 3 buttons to click on; Find, Save, Cancel

Any idea why when I enter the Walmart URL I get this instead of going to the
Walmart website?

Start running various anti-malware programs. I use Malwarebytes, Spybot
Search and Destroy, Ad-Aware and there are others. I have no issue opening
the web site at all.

Just like that? What did you see in the AutoSuggest list when
you were typing them? In particular was there a final match
before you pressed Enter?

Not so fast! What happened when you pressed Enter?
Make your observations in:
1. the AutoSuggest dropdown from the Address bar
2. Address bar
3. Tab label
4. Status bar
5. Title bar
6. any intermediate output in the window's display area

Answer my first question. Is your typing matching anything?
E.g., is it a Favorite you are matching? If so, delete the Favorite.

BTW

http://www.walmart.com/

appears to be trying to load some Flash content.
So you may get different symptoms by disabling Flash support.
