Cookies

I am on Windows 7 using IE 8 and attempting to get to Facebook. Its telling
me the cookies have not been enabled when they have.

Then it's trying to tell you something else using the message
that it would give for any problem which it thinks could be caused
by lack of Cookies.

JaneL: I had exactly the same problem - on Facebook and "My Yahoo,"
and only on those pages. Never found a cure, and
uninstalled/reinstalled IE8 a couple of times. Search for my name,
and you'll find the string that contains everything I tried.

Am now using Firefox, because I didn't want to go to the hassle of
reinstalling Windows 7 quite yet.

Anyway, I'll be watching your thread here, to see if you're able to
solve your situation.

Go here:

http://www.useragentstring.com/

in the box at the top will be your User Agent string that IE sends with
every request. Copy it and paste it in a reply to this message. It's
possible that it's too long, or is malformed in some way.
