Re: How do I remove the Favorites button (gold star)?

I'm with you DJ it is a waste of space as everything in that damn star is in
favourites on my menu bar , maybe MS are bringing out a new screen and want
us all to buy it ? lol unless there is a way to move or delete this darn
star and the space it takes up I am going back to ie7, as a note of interest
I think this star caused the same prob in ie7 AND it WAS deletable then so
why not now?

If you had a wide screen monitor, the Favorites Pane would easily fit on the
screen and not take any space that is used for anything important. And, the
star turns the pane on and off, so you can leave the pane closed all of the
time if you desire to do that -- which is what I do.

Why would you want to remove the star, that's how you close the offending
favorites pane. You formerly had a Favorites Button that took more space
than the star.
