Explorer crashes using IE8
Explorer has been crashing when more than 2 tabs are opened. I have started
to get script security warnings on safe pages. I have to run explorer as a
process to recover the desktop and start menu. IE8 keep running as if nothing
is wrong.

I have the following in application event viewer.

Re: Explorer crashes using IE8
Earlier, you'd told us the crashes happen when more then 3 tabs are open
plus a lot of other important information you omitted in your latest post:

I liked BroMow's reply in your earliest thread the best:

Re: Explorer crashes using IE8
Hi,

> Faulting application mptsvr.exe

Mptsvr.exe appears to belong to ACD mPower Tools. A quick search suggests
that mPower tools was last updated in 2006. It may not be compatible with
IE8 (or IE7.) Try uninstalling mPower tools. If the issue goes away,
reinstall it. A reinstall may help, or, again, it may not be compatible with
IE7 or IE8.

Hope this helps,
Don
