Mapquest and IE8

I just upgraded from IE7 to IE8. Sometimes mapquest freezes my session and
other times it loads and works properly. I located some articles regarding
problems with Mapquest after IE8 went live but I am concerned regarding the
intermittent nature of the problem. I had absolutely no problems on the web
with IE7. I am running XP sp2, Kaspersky Internet Security v.7 along with
Spywareblaster and Linkscanner. I also ran TuneUP Utilities but the problem
persists. Any comments would be appreciated.

I just received an email back from Mapquest. Their product is not supported
in IE8.
