IE 7 trying to go to dns for Akamai

Hi All,
As I put in the subject header, my browser ie7 tries sometimes when
opening to go to different dns addy's. All of which are for Akamai
technologies. I have Windows xp, SP 3, and IE 7 just recently downloaded. I
was using IE6 up until last month. I also had the problem then.
Like I said it doesn't happen all the time. As for when it started the best
guess is about 3 months ago. I just lived with it until now. I lost my
patience with it.................Any help appreciated.......
