IE8 forgets cookies

I have a problem with IE8 which is forgetting cookies from time to time. This
is annoying because my saved login names and web page form selections and
such things are lost. It does this about every month or so and I don't know
what settings can it be. I don't use inprivate browsing. Thanks

Got any security software that is set to erase cookies?

No. I use the same operating system and software for years (at work) and the
only thing new is IE8. It was not happening in IE6. There are more people
having this kind of problems. Like this one for example
