IE8 and SharePoint

After we updated all our client pc's in our company to IE8 we have lost some
of SharePoint fuctionality, like having "Excel Fill Handle" in a datasheet
view. How can we get a solution for this?

Though, I'm the only one who has MS Office 2007, and do not have this problem.

Applications that we are running:
SharePoint Server 7
Microsoft Office 2003

Better to ask in a Sharepoint forum or newsgroup I think.
Does Sharepoint have a repair? E.g. via Add/Remove Programs?
It's usually the product which installed an extension which knows how to repair it.

BTW you didn't disclose the OS involved which will be significant
in what exactly you need to do. E.g. Vista doesn't call it Add/Remove Programs
any more though it still uses appwiz.cpl
