IE 7 prob

Hi

Apologies if this has been on loads b4 as i'm new.

Having major issues with IE 7 on Vista.

Can't get a web page, can't update AVG but Messanger works.
Diag shows no network issues.

Tried resetting winsock and some other thing the online help said but no
joy. even installed IE8, and exact same, so got rid.

Heard it is part of my management settings, but not a clue what...

Any help anyone??

Do you have the same experience when you start Internet Explorer from
the 'no add-ons' icon?

Start > type Internet Explorer in the Search box > click Internet
Explorer (No Add-Ons)

Do you have the same experience after you have reset Internet Explorer
settings?

Cheers, but i've already done all that.
Have been through the support pages and followed many, but still no joy.
