IE8: Clicking on Tabs does not switch to tabbed window: 10-18-2009
I just installed IE8. When I click on the tabs to switch to a different
window, nothing happens. I have to close the current window t get to other
tabbed windows. Is there a fix for this? FYI, I do have tabbed browsing
turned on otherwise I wouldn't see the tabs.

Whenever you ask a question about Internet Explorer, please tell us what
version of Windows you are using (with the service pack number).

Do you have the same experience when you start Internet Explorer from
the 'no add-ons' icon?

If you have XP: Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools >
Internet Explorer (No Add-Ons)

If you have Vista: Start > type Internet Explorer in the Start Search
box > click Internet Explorer (No Add-Ons)

Do you have the same experience after you have reset Internet Explorer
settings?
