Internet Explorer Favorites freezing problem

Does anyone know why when recently when I tab onto one my save bookmarks in
my favorites tabs, (i.e. CNN, Best Buy, etc), to use a particular shortcut
that the bookmark either freezes and doesn't allow me to click on the
respective bookmarked item?
