strange things in IE8

Hi all,

i recently came across a strange behaviour of IE8 for which i cannot find
any solution (yet). What happens is that IE8 window is automatically
shrinking, the status bar is moving up, leaving almost no visible area. when
you click maximize the screen is normal again, but after a while it starts
to get smaller again. afaik all systems run xp with sp3 and ie8, their anti
virus is up2date. any clues??

Hi Paul,

I have seen the same behavior on my mom's PC. I have not yet found out what
is cuasing this trange behaviour.
