no cursor with IE

After I sign into my laptop I cannot get my cursor to work, however when I go
to google chrome everything works fine. Any suggestions?

More information is needed. So, you sign into your computer and your mouse
doesn't work until you go to Chrome? Or, you can't type until you go to
Chrome?

This is for Internet Explorer, so we'll need version number, operating
system etc..
