IE 8

I have two IExplorer.exe running at the same time. When I shut one down, it
immediately re-starts. When you look at the Applicastions list running, you
see IE, then a box with an "x" next to it. Is this some sort of virus?

I'm having trouble entering data on to websites since this started.

Explained many times in this newsgroup: The second process is needed for
the session recovery function.

Nobody else's computer running IE 8 shows two separate programs running;
definitely not a program designated as a box dash "x".
